Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp may like to keep a low profile, but that might not be so easy for him especially after the actor was found to be the most searched name in movies this year, by the users of Internet Movie Database (IMDb.com).
Depp has now topped the list two years in a row, beating Hollywood’s latest golden couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who came in second and third respectively.
The list is based on IMDb’s search index STARmeter which tabulates the searches made by the 30 million visitors, who search the site every month looking for their favourite star’s biography and filmography.
