Pinocchio’s Daring Journey takes guests on a ride through the life of a little marionette who only wanted to be a real boy. With Jiminy Cricket as your guide you will feel like you have entered into the actual film on a journey through this “dark ride”.

Pinocchio’s Daring Journey didn’t make its appearance at Disneyland until May 1983 with the newly renovated Fantasyland. It probably has one of the most atmospheric exteriors of all the Fantasyland dark rides with its Tyrolean motifs as gabled rooftops, cobblestone pathways, a replica of Stromboli’s marionette show over the entrance, and a Monstro the Whale weathervane.

Once you board your wooden car, you begin your adventure in Stromboli’s lively circus. Along the way, you also get to delight in the candy-coated world of Pleasure Island, visit the seedy Tobacco Road, almost get engulfed by Monstro the whale, and just like any Disney movie, it ends with a happily ever after as you behold the beautiful Blue Fairy! Pinocchio’s Daring Journey brings to life all the old-world charm and whimsy of the beloved film.
