Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular is a Broadway-quality show that leaves many name. guests wanting to come back for more! Many of the classic scenes and songs from the movie are re-created on stage and some of the action even spills out into the aisles that you have to see to believe. Flying carpets, magic lamps, wise-cracking genies, princesses, and evil wizards are all apart of the show, and that’s not even mentioning Aladdin!
The show continues to be quite popular with guests, even if they have seen it several times. Although much of the show is scripted, the dialog of the Genie constantly changes to reflect popular culture, making the show different every time! For many, the Genie is the highlight of the show and has them busting a gut for the whole show.

* Aladdin premiered on January 16, 2003.
* Alan Menken composed a new song for this production, called "To Be Free".
* The Hyperion Theater is reminiscent of many classic theaters and is something fun to see in and of itself. It holds 2,011 people for each showing.
* When Disney's California Adventure first opened in February 2001, an original Disney musical called Disney’s Step in Time was featured on the stage at the Hyperion Theater. Shortly after that, a scaled-down version of the musical Blast! took the stage.
* The Aladdin show is approximately 45 minutes long.
* Included in every show are 18 scene changes, 250 costume changes, and 28 cast members.
