Darth Tater had finally found the Bats of this infamous Bats Day and he could scarcely contain himself as he looked at the wave of black in front of him. He was a little surprised that he couldn’t sense more of the dark side as he approached the group but Darth Tater did not let this dampen his spirits. He picked out two of these so-called Bats who were strongest with the dark side of the force and led them down Main Street.

As they walked down the street he explained that they would need to prove their loyalty to him by completion of the trials. They would have to face challenges of pain to prove their devotion to the dark side. He quickly found these tools to challenge these two young learners. Darth Tater wasn’t sure what these tools were really for but they looked like they were for some vicious purpose...which was really surprising, as this place seemed to tout itself as the happiest place on earth.

Darth Tater examined the tools closely. He started thinking of ways he could use them. “Perhaps I could…wha!?” He quickly pulled out his light saber as he felt himself being lifted from the tools! He looked over at the person carrying him away from his newfound weapons of destruction and realized a pretty young girl had lifted him into the air. What could she possibly want with him? As she pulled him closer he felt himself boiling up inside as she kissed his cheek!

He quickly jumped out of her arms in confusion and moved away to look for more of his newfound allies. One of which was more than happy to carry him away from this beautiful princess of the light side. As he was carried away, he had to wonder why a person so full of the good side would possibly kiss Darth Tater, Dark Lord of the Empire!

Darth Tater then was taken to a room where several of his new allies had grouped together to meet them. One of these new evil allies had a hat on which Darth Tater found quite fascinating. Apparently this hat was called a “fez” and his newfound friend wore when leading his army.

Darth Tater of course asked to try it on. It would only be fitting as he was building his new army to take over this land, so why not try it on? As the fez was put on him he realized that this truly was a hat for a leader of the dark side. He felt the power of the dark side surge through him as he proudly displayed his new look. As he displayed this new look he heard someone ask “Lord Tater? We have found a group of miscreants who would like to join the dark side. Would you be our master?” Darth Tater quickly snapped back into reality. He had been side tracked too many times during the day and needed to accomplish his mission.

Darth Tater led them to what he had concluded was the darkest part of Disneyland. As he had explored Disneyland earlier he had come across a cemetery behind a large abandoned mansion. Darth Tater loved this area and decided that this would become his base when his plans were set in motion.

He explained to his new followers that their loyalties from there on would be to him, the Emperor, and the dark side of the force. “I expect you to be ruthless as we carry out our mission. Mercy will not be shown! Bow before me and take your oaths!” As they individually took their oaths, Darth Tater realized his plan to conquer this place was beginning to take shape.

He looked on with satisfaction as they then bowed before him after taking their oaths. These would make good apprentices to do his evil bidding. They continued to bow before him showing their reverence to their new leader and he started to become embarrassed. “You may rise.”

They quickly did and showed their loyalties. As they kissed him, he was pleased to feel the hate flowing through them. These two young apprentices were not like the faerie, which had kissed him earlier. They were true to the dark side and they would be most valuable. Darth Tater quickly detailed his plans to them and sent them off on their mission. He almost felt regret as he watched them go off on a mission he knew would most likely lead to their death. Death, however, is a part of life and the only thing that mattered was that Darth Tater’s evil plan succeeded!
