Mr. Potato Head quickly headed over to Adventureland to see what adventures he could discover. As he entered Adventureland, he made a new friend who suggested hitting Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye first. Seeing as he was a little afraid of becoming lunch for elephants, natives, or hippopotami, by riding the Jungle Cruise (that would NOT be "elephant happiness") her suggestion seemed wise.

After discovering Disneyland has a system called the fast pass and he did not have one...Mr. Potato Head and his new found friend waited...and waited...and waited...the day was hot...and they baked in the sun. He hoped they wouldn't he wouldn't get stuck out there too long...he did not thing he would make a good baked potato. Finally they were able to enter the temple. He sighed with relief as they entered into the depths of the temple under the earth, where he was quite at home. Of course, this was nicer than any underground dwelling a potato would encounter in their homes.

He gawked at his surroundings in awe as he went deeper and deeper into the bowels of this amazing place. He became so excited that he had to kiss a part of this incredible tunnel. With the help of a new found friend he was able to kiss this magical post in this magical place and move on towards his new adventure in Indiana Jones.

Unfortunately the moment he kissed that bamboo post, it bent in and a roar filled the room. Mr. Potato Head shuddered in fear as he saw spikes coming at him from seemingly every direction! They got closer and as he felt one coming up through the floor beneath him a hand grabbed him and lifted him to safety...for the moment. Unfortunately they just kept coming! And suddenly...just before impaling him and turning him into shish kebob, the spikes stopped.

Mr. Potato Head was so excited to survive that he had to show his excitment. Once again, with help from a friend, he was able to go to heights never reached by potatoes before!

Life was good and Mr. Potato Head was happy to not be a frite. With a new sense of adventure and determination, Mr. Potato Head continued down the tunnel to see what fate awaited him.

As he continued down the tunnel, he discovered amazing little markings etched into the floor. For a potato this was just too fascinating to pass up without a picture.

He did have to wonder though, what could these strange markings on the floor possibly mean? He figured it couldn't mean too much... so he continued on.

Just as he stepped off the marking he noticed a sign. It read, "Don't Step on the Diamond - Shaped Stones." He shuddered in horror as he re-read that sign over and over. He realized how blessed he was that he hadn't ended up as a mashed potato. He started to wonder how wise this outing at Disneyland really was. After all, he was a small potato and Disneyland was a big place!

As he stood contemplating if he should continue down this tunnel full of adventure, a new man came along and offered to accompany Mr. Potato Head through the rest of his journey through the temple. Seeing the confidence this man exuded, Mr. Potato Head consented and was lifted on to the shoulder of this gentleman to continue deeper into the temple.

Along the way they discovered men down, in a mine like shaft, in what seemed to be some sort of well or something. Next to it was a sign cautioning people to not pull a rope from which the archeologists dangled...

Mr. Potato Head thought about this sign for a brief moment and then had a new thought...he realized he was in Adventureland and had already experienced several adventures since entering this tunnel. Therefore, it would only be fitting and proper for him to help others have an adventure too. So...he pulled the rope. As he did, a voice yelled at him to stop. So of course he pulled it again. This time he heard the clatter and crashing of broken artifacts. . . he quickly moved on.

As he neared the loading zone for the next leg of his journey, a jeep ride, he was met by a Cast Member guarding the entrance from young spuds who were too short to ride aboard this fast paced and bumpy ride. She quickly sized him up and discovered to everyone's amazement that he was too short! Fortunately, upon hearing the tales of Mr. Potato Head's journey to Disneyland and his adventures in the tunnel, she allowed him to continue on.

As he walked away from the Cast Member he discovered a sign. . . Quickly he opened up and complied with it.

Finally, he reached the jeeps. He was thankful to be able to sit down in their comfortable seats after walking what seemed like an eternity. As he got situated and attempted to buckle up, he realized that this just wouldn't work for his journey to keep him safe. After all his misadventures, he did not want to die in what seemed like the easiest part of his journey through the temple...riding a jeep.

With the help of his companions, a way was discovered in which Mr. Potato Head could ride aboard the jeep in safety and comfort. As the jeep entered the inner lair of the Temple of the Forbidden Eye Mr. Potato Head had to wonder what other adventures were to be found at Disneyland. He sincerely hoped that not all of them would be as dangerous as Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye!
