With the holidays coming to Disneyland Resort, many people think of the same tradition, Candlelight Processional. We fall into that group, as Candlelight is one of our biggest weekends for filming in the parks. We were thrilled to bring you guys along for the adventure of waiting!

Our weekend began on Friday, with a trip to see Bing Bong! We heard Bing Bong’s Sweet Shop had a new addition and we quickly made our way to Disney California Adventure to start our weekend! Once we saw the new figure, we quickly ate lunch and left, as we knew we would have to save our energy for the weekend.

On Saturday, Mr. DAPs got to the park before I did and the waiting began! Both days we ended up waiting for about five hours before the first showing of Candlelight. Once the show kicked off on Saturday night, we heard the beautiful choral music as well as the story of the first Christmas from Chris Pratt. It was wonderful to hear all about Mary consuming- ahem- conceiving Jesus. (Thanks Chris Pratt!)

Saturday night, I head over to Tomorrowland to see Goofy take over with Goofy’s Holiday Dance Party! With so many friends to see and so many fun tunes, it was a really exciting time getting to get my feet moving again after standing for so long. Once my body gave out from exhaustion, I took a nice monorail ride to Downtown Disney and head back home!

Sunday featured an equal amount of waiting (surprise)! The show once again went off beautifully with no flubs about consuming Jesus. Though there were a few moments Pratt interacted with some rowdy guests, it was once again a successful show that brought all of us together.

We ended our night with Phat Cat Swinger and Fantasmic!, some of our favorite things. Our video really ends with a cry for help on technology, so if you know anything about iPhone XS, we want to hear from you!

What was your favorite part of the weekend? What do you want to see from us next week? Let us know!
