New Entrance for Autos Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios Opening on November 8th at Walt Disney World Resort!

Guests entering with a car at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort will soon find themselves entering the parking lot in a new way. Starting on November 8th, there will be a new entrance to the Disney’s Hollywood Studios parking lot.

The new parking lot entrance comes amidst a lot of change at this park ahead of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the arrival of the Disney Skyliner. This also comes ahead of the 30th anniversary of the park in 2019! On top of a new entrance for vehicles, the guest flow into the park is being updated as well. The goal of this is to make the arrival and departure process for Disney’s Hollywood Studios simpler and easier.

Staring on November 8th, guests driving to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be utilizing the entrance and exit off of Osceola Parkway to get to the parking lot. The current entrance off of World Drive and Osceola Parkway will be dedicated to Cast Members only with the change of the guest entrance. Another entrance on Buena Vista Drive will be where buses can arrive at the park.

Signs will be updated for the new entrance starting on November 8th. Guests will be able to follow the new directions to the new parking lot entrance. Just follow the signs pointing to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! This will be true for guests coming from both directions, including those coming southbound on Victory Way where there is a connecting road leading to the park.

All of this is a part of a project to make getting to Disney’s Hollywood Studios that much easier. It includes more parking, the Disney Skyliner, adjusted tram lanes, and more bus parking.
