Every year at both the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, the Candlelight Processional is a tradition that celebrates the spirit of the season. This year, the Candlelight Processional will begin on November 22 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Epcot. Tickets will be going on sale on July 11.

The Candlelight Processional is part of the Epcot International Festival of Holidays. Every year it is a popular event with celebrity narrators* coming to Walt Disney World to share the Christmas story. For many, their holiday trips are planned around specific narrators for this special event. This year’s processional begins on Thanksgiving, November 22nd. Performances will continue through December 30th.

For the Candlelight Processional’s telling of the Christmas story, a 50 piece orchestra accompanies a massed choir and celebrity narrator. Each night this happens three times (5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m.) throughout the Christmas season at the America Gardens Theatre. For those that want to plan ahead, on select days dining packages are available. The dining packages include a meal and a seat for a Candlelight Processional performance. It should be noted that availability is limited for this so it is best to get tickets early.
