Sunday Spotlight: Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover

One of my favorite things to do when visiting Walt Disney World is to go aboard the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. This classic, that once also was at Disneyland, is ten minutes of happiness! It gives guests a relaxing tour above Tomorrowland with some absolutely beautiful views! The PeopleMover in Florida’s Magic Kingdom opened in 1975. The original WEDway PeopleMover opened at Disneyland on July 2, 1967. It would continue to transport millions of guests until it closed on August 21, 1995. The tracks remain above Tomorrowland at Disneyland still today.

At Walt Disney World, the PeopleMover is the second generation of this relaxing mode of transportation. The look and the technology was updated a bit but the experience is still simply delightful. Watch this ride through of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at the Magic Kingdom.
