Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is still a year away but there is more Star Wars at the Disneyland Resort starting today. Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire by ILMxLAB and The VOID opened to guests visiting the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. The immersive experience gives guests the chance to join the rebellion and go on a mission to recover Imperial Intelligence. This is, of course, vital to the future of the Rebellion.
Fans will experience this paid attraction in groups of four. Each experience is $29.95 with showtimes starting every 15 minutes starting at 9:00 AM with the final show starting at 11:45 PM. Guests will be asked what level their Force powers are. Next, it is time to suit up! Cassian Andor then briefs the team on what exactly will be happening. The mission takes place around the time of Rogue One: A Star Wars story so this all makes sense. The troop is moved into another room where their visors are lowered and the world of Star Wars is entered. Soon all are on board a ship to be transported to a recognizable planet in the Star Wars universe prequels. The battle begins and there are stormtroopers and other things to shoot at. Oh, and throughout the adventure, K-2SO is right there. The experience is completely immersive with both visual and physical elements to interact with.
For those who wanted to experience Star Wars whenever watching the movies, this is a must-do experience. It brings imagination to life in a way that will satisfy. There is a height requirement of 48″ and an age requirement of 10 years old or older. A waiver also must be signed before experience Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire.
