ROCK4CHOC Raises Thousands for CHOC Children’s

This last Thursday, team DAPs Magic held the inaugural ROCK4CHOC concert in honor of CHOC Walk in the Park next week, with all money being raised going directly to CHOC Children’s.

Between the numerous silent auction items and donations made at the door, the event totaled in several thousand dollars, all of which will benefit the children the the Children’s Hospital of Orange County helps everyday. Nearing the end of the event, team DAPs Magic was only a few hundred dollars away from reaching a team total of $5,000 raised, and there was one last auction held to push the total over that mark. Once it was hit, Cameron pledged to take the team total in his quest to shave the beard for CHOC Walk in the park.

Adding to all the fun was the team from The 501st Legion bringing various Star Wars characters to life, bringing specials moments to all fans. On top of that, 3D Likeables had a booth that could do a 3D scan to turn into a gif, and for an additional price, a 3D model could be printed that took your likeness and made it into a figure! Once again, all proceeds went directly to CHOC!

Overall, it was an incredibly successful night, and we want to send out a huge thank you to everyone who made it out and made ROCK4CHOC possible! Couldn’t make it? Check out the concert featuring Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies here:
