The official poster and trailer for Frozen The Broadway Musical has been released. Andrew Flatt, Disney Theatrical’s senior vice president for strategy, marketing and revenue, shared about the design process to the New York Times. Flatt talked about the need to not only connect with the original animated movie but also “differentiate” and also “elevate” it for Broadway.
The poster, designed by advertising agency Serino Coyne, is an icy fantasia by Olly Moss, an artist based outside London. It showcases the frozen fractals with the silhouette of what appears to be Elsa. In the darker negative space faces of the two sisters can be seen.
