The heat has arrived in Southern California and along with it, the crowds. As May is drawing to a close many guests throughout Southern California are realizing that their Annual Passes will soon have more blockout dates due to it being summer. For those that bought the three day tickets, those expire as well this week. All of this led to Disneyland being a VERY popular place this weekend. On Saturday Disneyland actually reached capacity and guests were turned away from Disneyland and towards Disney California Adventure. While Sunday was not quite as busy, it was still busy and definitely was warm.
To combat both the crowds and the heat, Mr. DAPs and team decided to film Sundays with DAPs with tips on how to do just that. It was quickly decided that the best places to go would be something that was cool and quickly accessible. This week’s Sundays with DAPs gives a tour of several things that fit those bills! Despite being quite warm, the day ended up being an absolutely beautiful day to be in the park! We hope you enjoy this week’s segment and also find it useful as we head into a much warmer season at the Disneyland Resort.
Throughout the day we also were able to watch Mickey’s Soundsational Parade and Remember… Dreams Come True fireworks. We also stopped by Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! to see the progress going on over in Disney California Adventure with the setup for Summer of Heroes! We hope you enjoy this Sundays with DAPs photo gallery!
Make it a great week everybody!
