runDisney Virtual Running Shorts Series Returns!

The runDisney Virtual Running Shorts Series is returning this summer. This year, it is featuring everyone’s favorite puppy Pluto! The runDisney Virtual Running Shorts Series is a great way to enter into the world of running for yourself or to help your friends ease in. It is also a fantastic way to train for the upcoming runDisney races at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris!

This year, the Virtual Races go on sale on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. The series of races include three 5Ks that can be completed from whichever course you choose. This can be done through the neighborhood, the treadmill, local park, or wherever your imagination comes up with! Those who participate will receive a uniquely designed medal for each 5K that is completed. If all three virtual 5Ks are finished, participants will receive a challenge medal. 

The Pet Alliance of Great Orlando will be the celebrity charity for this years runDisney Virtual Running Shorts Series. This organization is celebrating 80 years of saving pets in Central Florida.
