Even before Shanghai Disneyland had opened, a new expansion was being worked on. Today the Disney Parks Blog announced that chairman and chief executive officer of The Walt Disney Company, along with Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, and Fan Xiping, chairman of Shanghai Shendi Group, have announced that Toy Story Land is coming to Shanghai Disneyland.
Ever since Toy Story was first released in 2005, it has been popular in China. The land will be “authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese.” The resort opened with a hotel themed to the world of Toy Story. This new land will be a one-of-a-kind experience unlike anything else anywhere else.
This new land will be open for guests to visit in 2018. Are you excited for it?
