Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is coming to the Hollywood Bowl for Halloween. On October 29th and 30th, this classic Halloween film will be get the full live orchestra treatment with special vocal guests that include Catherine O’Hara as Sally, Ken Page as Oogie Boogie, and Paul Reubens as Lock. This special screening will also include Tim Burton himself singing for the role of Jack. John Mauceri will be leading this nightmarish orchestra.
This is the second year for this performance of The Nightmare Before Christmas and Elfman said, “Being able to perform Nightmare live last year, in synch to the movie with a full orchestra was such a thrill. But having Catherine O’Hara, Ken Page and Paul Reubens to perform with me really made it a unique and magical experience.”
Tickets are already on sale and costumes are encouraged for this event as long as they don’t disrupt the viewing experience of others.
Will you be going to the Hollywood Bowl to attend this event?
