ABC Network Cancels The Muppets, Agent Carter & More

On Thursday, the ABC Network canceled a slew of cable shows. Across the board, a handful of popular series were cut in lieu of competition with online streaming services and more. According to Entertainment Weekly, Fox and CBS also canceled various shows. Networks will continue to drop shows in the following days.

Series canceled under the ABC name include The Muppets, Agent Carter, Nashville, Galavant and The Family. For the most part, viewership of these shows had been decent. The Muppets averaged around 5.3 million viewers while Galavant averaged 3.1 million viewers.
