Disney Developing Live-Action Peter PanIn 1953 Disney released Peter Pan as an animated feature. This movie became a classic and since then, several different spinoffs have been developed, attractions created, and the story was even re-visited in the television show Once Upon a Time. Now, Disney is banking on Peter Pan’s story never growing old as it creates a live-action version of this classic story.

Peter Pan is being both co-written and directed by David Lowery. Most recently Lowery he co-wrote and directed the remake of Pete’s Dragon with Toby Halbrooks. Halbrooks is partnering with Lowery to write the script for this project. James Whitaker is returning from Pete’s Dragon to join Peter Pan as a producer.

At this time a release date is not known for Peter Pan as it is early in development. What do you think about this newest live-action remake?
