Disneyland Resort’s Million Dollar Dazzle Awards Check to ‘Literacy Project Foundation’

With the ongoing efforts of Disneyland Resort’s Million Dollar Dazzle program, the latest non-profit organization has been selected. Announced on Friday, Disney Parks Blog states that Literacy Project Foundation was gifted a check for $60,000.

The Literacy Project Foundation is an after school program that helps youth with reading and improving their skills. Sue Grant, executive director of Literacy Project Foundation said, “This gift enables us to reach even more at-risk youth. For many years, the Disneyland Resort has supported us with ticket donations and materials for our participants, and this donation is certainly one for the books!”

The Million Dollar Dazzle crew and team surprises a new local non-profit organization every month as a part of the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration. Stay tuned to see where they stop next.
