Adrianne Palicki‘s Bobbi Morse (Mockingbird) and Nick Blood’s Lance Hunter appear to be getting the chance at starring in their own show.
ABC has ordered a pilot revolving around the two called Marvel’s Most Wanted. The project was created by Agent’s of SHIELD’s producers Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski. They are also writing the pilot and would serve as show-runners and executive producers if this show is picked up. Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s head of television, would also executive produce.
According to Variety sources, the show wouldn’t necessarily be a direct spin off of Agent’s of SHIELD but instead a stand alone story. It would continue to follow the story of Morse and Hunter though.
At this point, not a lot is known about the timeline and/or/how Marvel’s Most Wanted would be connected to Agents of SHIELD… if at all. This project was first rumored to be in the works in April but then was passed on by ABC. A few months later it was hinted at by ABC president Paul Lee during the New York Upfronts.
The idea of this show continues a trend of more Marvel TV shows being developed for both ABC and Netflix. The next step will be seeing if the Marvel’s Most Wanted pilot is picked up and developed into a series. Do you think it should be?
