Mickey, Minnie and the gang are in for an adventure in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Pet Salon when Minnie opens a salon to prepare all the animals for Pluto’s grand pet show. The whole team comes together to help Minnie get the Mickey’s Clubhouse animals ready in time for the grand event in this interactive, musical, and educational film. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Goofy must overcome several obstacles including missing kittens, a bubble disaster, and technical malfunctions in order to make the pet salon, and the grand show, a success.

The adventures continue in the following four episodes highlighted onMickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Pet Salon . The gang celebrates their pets with a pet parade, only to realize that Daisy is the only member of Mickey’s Clubhouse without a pet. Donald, Goofy and Minnie each try to find Daisy a pet so the entire gang can go to the pet parade. Next, excitement ensues when Pluto and Mickey puppy-sit ClaraBelle’s rambunctious puppy. Donald then has his moment in the spotlight as he takes on the plight of helping some ducks travel to the beach for their winter migration. In the final segment of the film, Pluto leads a search party to help find Minnie’s beloved cat, Figaro. Throughout the film, the gang uses their problem solving skills and teamwork to conquer the obstacles they encounter.

Quality:

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Pet Salon  is visually bright and vibrant with kid-friendly graphics. The one defect in the review copy is the screen goes black very briefly a few times throughout the film. The sound is clean and consistent throughout the film.

Final thoughts:

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Pet Salon  is composed of five episodes. Each one is very cute but definitely meant for children rather than reaching multiple age groups. That being said, it is highly interactive and offers several learning opportunities for its audience. While not highly memorable or interesting for adults, it is a cute DVD to pop in the player when needing a positive way to entertain young children.
