With the current success of Disney’s live action film “Cinderella” reeling in $336.2 million worldwide and many more films in the works such as a live action “Dumbo,” The Hollywood Reporter has announced that there will be a new film added to this list. The newest live action film in the lineup will be that of “Mulan.”
According to the article, Disney has obtained a script from Elizabeth Martin and Lauren Hynek. The script contains the story of Hua Mulan, female warrior and legend. Disney fans will recall the animated version of this film from 1998.
As for producers, the article lists Chris Bender and J.C. Spink.
Currently there is no word of cast or an official release date.
