Special Valentine's Day Food Offerings at the Disneyland Resort

In less than two weeks, Valentine’s Day will be here. This is a time of year to cherish those that you love in life. If you are single or taken, spreading the message of love is all that matters. One way to celebrate this occasion is with food. Over at the Disneyland Resort, there are plenty of meal options to enjoy during this holiday. Disney Parks Blog shared some menu items that are here just in time for Valentine’s Day.

First off at Disneyland Park, guests can visit the Stage Door Cafe, located in Frontierland, for a sweet treat. A very special red velvet funnel cake will be offered. This yummy treat is sprinkled with powered sugar. Also, red velvet pancakes can be found at the River Belle Terrace, located in Frontierland, for a prefect breakfast.

Over at the Blue Bayou Restaurant, in New Orleans Square,  a “Sweet Heart Duet” will be offered. This meal features “bacon-wrapped filet mignon and halibut atop tomato croutons with sautéed baby spinach and roasted potatoes, served with a rich Chardonnay dill, Cognac peppercorn and café au lait sauce,” according to Disney Parks Blog. If you would like something a bit more light for lunch or dinner, the Plaza Inn, on Main Street, will feature pan-seared salmon. Also on Main Street, the Carnation Café will serve up a surf and turf meal.

Disney California Adventure Park is also adding in a few new items for Valentine’s Day. If you need a quick sweet treat, Schmoozies in Hollywood Land, is will have a cherry-apple smoothie. Even more things to add to your sweet tooth include an ice cream sundae from Clarabelle’s, on Buena Vista Street. In addition to these sweet treats,  Alfresco Tasting Terrace and Cove Bar will have a dessert sampler.

If you are in the mood for food, Wine Country Trattoria, in Pacific Wharf will offer a three course meal featuring lobster or beef. Pair one of those with a wine and you  will be all set.

Last but not least, the hotels of the Disneyland Resort will feature some special meals. Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel and Napa Rose at the Grand Californian Hotel will offer prix-fixe menus.
