Dapper Day is just around the corner at the Disneyland Resort. Taking part on March 1, guests of all ages can show up to the resort wearing their most dapper attire. With a weekend long of fun, there are many events taking part that will make your experience even more enjoyable. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights for the weekend.
Dapper Day Expo
Looking for some stylish vintage attire or accessories? The Dapper Day Expo will have just what you need. Open both February 28 (noon – 9 p.m.) and March 1 (10 a.m. – 8 p.m.) at the Disney Grand Californian Hotel Conference Center, this expo will offer a wide variety of merchandise including brand new Dapper Day event merchandise such as buttons and folding fans. This expo is free and open to all.
Lawn Party
New to Dapper Day this year is the “Lawn Party.” This event will be on March 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Disneyland Hotel. With this event, guests will enjoy a lovely afternoon with games, dancing and lunch, all in a private garden setting. There will be live music from bands Magnolia Memoir and Icy Hot Club. - Buffet Lunch 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Cash Bar 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Magnolia Memoir 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
- Icy Hot Club 1:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
“Dapper Day at the Parks”
There is no better place to show off your “Sunday Best” than at the Disneyland Resort. Twice each year, thousands visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park looking quite snazzy. On March 1, from park opening to closing, the Disneyland Resort will be filled with the most stylish of people. To make your day even more memorable, be sure to take a ride on the Mark Twain Riverboat out on the Rivers of America. Also, a sunset ride on King Arthur’s Carousel as a part of the “Dapper Derby” will make your Dapper Day amazing. According to the Dapper Day website, there will be no specific meet up times in the park this year to prevent over crowding or congestion.
