Disneyland Paris in 2015

2015 is about to be a crucial year for Disneyland Paris. Thanks to its recapitalization, starting this summer it will be easier for EuroDisney to invest in the future of its destination.

Here is what we can expect for Paris this year:

Space Mountain: Mission 2 closed its gates on January 11th until at least the end of July for a major refurbishment. We don’t have much information at the moment, but it should include a full reconstruction of the canon, a new design of the surroundings and waiting areas and a better projection and lighting system.

In the meantime, Café Hypérion Restaurant and the Vidéopolis Stage closed on the same day and should return during the summer with the Jedi Training Academy.

Swing into Spring is already planned to return with the Goofy’s Garden Party and the Easter Bunny Train from March 1st to May 31st. Starting June 1st and until September 13th, after Orlando, Anaheim and Tokyo, Paris will host a Frozen Season including the Sing-Along Show, Meet and Greets, food and merchandising.

At the end of August, the major plan of refurbish the whole Disneyland Park for the 25th anniversary in 2017 will start. It will include several attractions upgrades and the return of long lost effects. It’s A Small World, the Disneyland Railroad and Adventure Isles are supposed to close during the summer for a lengthy refurbishement. And the SUPER good news is that Big Thunder Mountain and the Rivers of America will follow starting November 2015.
