The up-and-coming live action film, “The Jungle Book,” is bound to leave us stunned with visual effects. According to Entertainment Weekly, there is something even more exciting to look forward to. Bill Murray, voice of Baloo, will indeed lend his voice for a musical tune.
Director Jon Favreau noted that the film will not be a musical. When asked about Baloo’s role of singing “The Bare Necessities” he replied, “How do you not do that?” He then added, “we wanted to work in the more memorable moments from the ‘67 film.”
Bill Murray joins the likes of a star-studded cast including Christopher Walken as King Louie, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, as Idris Elba as Shere Kahn and Lupita N’yongo as Rakcha. All characters except Mowgli will be computer generated.
Looking forward to how this will all turn out. What do you think about Bill Murray singing?
