DFD589042-613x452If you enjoy viewing the nighttime spectacular of Fantasmic!, then you will be excited to hear that brand new viewing options will be available starting December 12. According to Disney Parks Blog, the new viewing selections will be very similar to that of World of Color. The viewing options will include reserved and stand-by.

Reserved viewing will use the FASTPASS system. Here guests will get a chance to enjoy other attractions before the show without much stress in finding a seat. The reserved section will have a first come first serve FASTPASS system. It will also include the showtime and an assigned viewing section. FASTPASS will be distributed along the Big Thunder Trail in Frontierland. In addition to the reserved viewing, stand by viewing will still be available in select locations.

With these new options, Fantasmic! dining packages will now be offered which including a variety of locations. If you would like to see the full list of prices and options on these packages, please click here.

Do you know if this will put an end to the current seated areas with dessert option. My husband has a hard time standing that long and I know that option has always worked for us as well as making sure our kids could see which does not happen with the WOC preferred areas.

From what I understand, seating areas will now only be on the ground and the current dessert option will be replaced by the Hungry Bear Dessert Party. There is also a dining option at River Bell Terrace that offers a three course meal followed by moving to a specific viewing area for Fantasmic! itself. I don’t know if this is helpful or not. If you have specific concerns, I would ask at City Hall and see if there is a way that your husband can be accommodated. Please keep us up to date if you do this and let us know what is said as I have been asked by several people about this. Best wishes!
