Two New Dining Experiences Announced for Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort

Coming summer of 2015, Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort will be opening two brand new restaurants that are sure to satisfy anyone’s taste-buds. Disney Parks Blog announced Morimoto Asia and BOATHOUSE are to offer a unique dining experience. Let’s take a closer look at them.

Iron Chef America star, Chef Masaharu Morimoto, will be opening a two story pan-Asian restaurant called the Morimoto Asia. This location is said to give a “one-of-a-kind dining experience”  featuring traditional dim sum and Peking duck carvings.  Morimoto Asia will offer waterside seating, a grand hall, a cocktail lounge area and terraces. Chef Morimoto said, “I’m very excited to bring this new concept to Disney, something I’ve always dreamed of. It’s a wonderful chance to share some of my favorite foods from across the Asian continent.”

The next new location, BOATHOUSE, is to be located in The Landing of Disney Springs. Here the menu includes a raw bar, steak, seafood and chops. The upscale location will feature waterfront dining and include live music and even provide guided tours. Creator Steven Schussler shared his thoughts on the project, “We are very excited that the BOATHOUSE is joining the Walt Disney World family at Disney Springs. Walt Disney Imagineering has created a wonderful, interactive, culinary and entertainment experience at Disney Springs. We are proud to be part of this magical experience.”
