With the upcoming live action film, The Jungle Book, swinging into theaters October 9, 2015, more casting news has just been released. Walt Disney Studios has announced that Christopher Walken, Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o and Gincarlo Esposito will be joining the cast.
Recently announced, new comer Neel Sethi is to play Mowgli, the only actor to be seen on the screen. Part live action and part animation, characters will voiced by the recently announced star studded cast. King Louie will be played by Christopher Walken. Other roles include Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Idris Elba as Shere Kahn, Lupita Nyong’o as Rashka and Gincarlo Esposito as Akela.
