It’s probably a little strange to see this post on a mostly Disney site, but I did spend some of New Year’s Eve at Knott’s Berry Farm. It was a good time for as much as I spent there. The park was still decked out in Christmas decor. A lot of entertainment was scheduled, including acts like Dana Daniels – a former Golden Horseshoe entertainer. The big act, for me, was Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies. Fresh from the day’s performance at Disneyland, Billy Hill and the Hillbillies transformed into this not much different quartet. It was a solid performance, and one that hasn’t been seen at Disneyland for a while because of more seasonal acts.
In all, Knott’s was a refreshing way to spend some of New Year’s Eve. There were lines for attractions, but it was not as unbearable as some other famous places. Ghost Town was alive into later hours than normal. Camp Snoopy was buzzing with families. It was a hoppin’ place. I enjoyed the seasonal decorations. Attractions I was able to ride I enjoyed. In all, great experience. Below are some photos and the first set of Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies.
And, until next time have a marvelous day!
