Love is in the air at the Disneyland Resort this weekend. As part of Limited Time Magic, Disneyland is celebrating Valentine’s Day with True Love Week. This week brings many favorite Disney couples together in the Resort along with opportunities for other couples to come and celebrate the season of love together.

To celebrate the season, Disneyland has been decked out with hearts and flowers. This offers wonderful opportunities for guests to take romantic pictures together. In Town Square a heart made of flowers is already quite popular for guests visiting the park. Just steps away, Mickey and Minnie or Donald and Daisy can be found together in a special location to meet guests.

Valentines_Week_2013_Disneyland_Limited_Time_Magic-7Sleeping Beauty Castle has also received the holiday treatment. With pink banners and decorations around the wishing well in Snow White’s Grotto, the entrance to Fantasyland is now even more romantic than ever (in fact, a couple was doing a photo shoot there this morning when your humble reporter was photographing some of the locations). At night, the castle is lit up in a special way for the occasion.

Inside of Fantasyland, the royal couples of the Disney empire can be found sharing their love with guests throughout the day at the Royal Walk in Fantasyland near It’s a Small World. Lady Tremaine and Cinderella’s Step Sisters can be found looking for suitors in the area.

Disneyland is also offering many different options for food to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The Blue Bayou and Café Orleans in Disneyland park, Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure park, Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotelor Napa Rose in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel all have created special additions to their menues for True Love Week. For those wanting just a sweet little snack, special cupcakes have been made and are available at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café in Disneyland; Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café and Pacific Wharf Café in Disney California Adventure; and Disneyland Hotel Coffee House. These are chocolate cupcakes with raspberry mousse filling and a dark chocolate mousse frosting.

For those that are into the merchandise, special ears have been created for this week along with special pins, Vinylmations, plush, and other merchandise throughout the Disneyland Resort.

The Disneyland Resort also is offering special screenings of Lady and the Tramp for Annual Passholders from February 13-17. For more details, check here.

Limited Time Magic continues on through 2013 and DAPs Magic will continue to cover the events being offered so check back often! A full gallery of True Love Week can be found in Memories here.
