Five-year-old Michael Canary will fly to Florida to visit Disney World and the Atlantic Ocean today through the local Wish Upon A Star organization.
Canary, who has three tumors on his brain stem, will leave from the Evansville Regional Airport at 9:45 a.m. with his mother and three sisters. He will spend a week at Give the Kids the World, visit the four Disney Attractions and take a one-day trip to see the ocean.
Wish Upon a Star is a non-profit organization based in Evansville that grants wishes for children with life-threatening or terminal illnesses.
